With ambitions to revolutionize the electric vehicle sector, our car designer client HandleBar3D sought to take their deep experience at traditional OEM’s to the next level and prototype their own EV concept. They had an initial engineering design that needed to be reconfigured for modeling and 3D printing to make it ready for visualization that could capture investor interest.

Steeped in automotive modeling experience, WDG provided expert design assistance to transform the engineering data into a production-ready design by constructing a scale clay model. Refining surface treatments and feature placement for optimal aesthetics and functionality, the model was then treated and painted into its final form. Physical photography and computer-generated effects were rendered together to produce immersive visualizations highlighting the Electra.

The launch of the Electra Prototype featured rendered stills, video animation, and 3D experiences that were met with praise and garnered excitement within circles of the automotive and design industries.
